Digital Printing

You may already be familiar with digital printing – if you have an Inkjet printer at home, you already know about it! Since digital printing does not operate like offset printing which requires its own aluminium plates, the printing produced can be highly variable and produced in a short amount of time – perfect for situations where you need your marketing collaterals urgently for your corporate events! Digital printing directly applies toners and ink onto the paper – the most straightforward printing format. If your printed materials require unique traits – different voucher codes, names, addresses et cetera, digital printing could be more suitable for you.

Offset Printing

When you use offset printing, you are using aluminium plates to transfer your printed images onto a rubber sheet which then can be transferred onto papers and other mediums. The preparation for offset printing will take longer than it would for digital printing since the aluminium sheet needs to be carefully calibrated for its crisp and professional colour outcome. Since ink is not directly transferred to the paper, this form of printing is referred to as offset printing. The high color accuracy is usually required in large companies where their brand colors are essential.
